Many films have jewellery in them and some are even based upon jewellery. These ones are just some of my favourites.
Titanic
Although I personally find this boring to be very boring and dull, there is no doubt it made an impact on the world when it was released.
The film is of course set around the Heart of the Ocean which is a very valuable blue diamond necklace.
This is actually a fictional diamond but was really made for the film and cost at around ,000.
It is actually sitting within the archives of Fox. In the film we see these treasure hunters find a picture of a woman wearing the necklace who they find out to be Rose, she then goes on to tell us her story.
The brilliant Lord Of The Rings
Although this is technically a collection of books, for me the film really showed of the obsession that could be had when it comes to a piece of jewellery. Gollum was the character that actually wanted it the most with the famous phrase “my precious” constantly being used as his way of describing the ring of power.
The ring was of course forged by the evil Sauron many years before the bookes even started and after his death the ring was lost for many years.
Gollum was actually a really friendly Hobbit before the ring transformed him into the creature you see him as in the movies, Bilbo Baggins then stole the ring from him. This is where the first book begins.
Henry Jones Jr or Indiana Jones
The famous Indiana Jones is of course famous for treasure hunting but does it for the benefit of the museum over himself~Of course everyone knows that Henry Jones Jr or Indiana Jones is famous for his treasure hunting skills, however he does it for the museum~Although The famous Indiana Jones is famous for his treasure hunting he always does it to take back to a museum of some kind,}. Is Ford likely to pick up his most famous role for another time? Fans are hoping his son doesnt take over because that would be really bad.
